My Story
In June 2009, I lost my job after almost 10 years. I knew in my heart that I didn't want to return to Corporate America, so I took some time to see what my options were. I stumbled onto Scentsy at a craft fair and fell in LOVE with the product. I decided to join in November 2009 just to buy Christmas presents at a discount. I never had any intentions on doing anything with the business as I had tried direct selling before and it didn't work for me!
Well, here I am in a leadership role! I am the stay-at-home mom I always wanted to be and have never missed one one of my daughter's school events since joining. I now earn a pay check and get to spend more time with my family.
Then in December 2017, life threw me a curve ball when I went in for surgery and they unexpectedly found early staged Ovarian Cancer. From the start my prognosis was good as my cancer didn't spread and wasn't aggressive, but I still had to have 6 rounds of chemo to make sure every cell was gone. I was lucky to have my Scentsy business as I could work when I felt good and couldn't take time off when I didn't. I'm happy to say that there is no sign of cancer and am back to my old self!
Scentsy has given me the opportunity to earn more than 10 free trips, set my own hours, be the one who reaps the full benefits of my hard work, and meet some of the nicest people!
Scentsy has given me the chance to not only earn an income, but to spent more time with my family. I'm glad I chose to spend $99 and joined Scentsy as it has been a true blessing to my family and has changes our lives!
This truly can be a family business. My daughter was only 7 when I joined and she has been involved in my business in every way possible. Now that she is a teenager, she is learning real life lessons on owning a business, the importance of remaining positive in every situation and if you work hard enough, you can achieve almost anything you set your mind to.
